Ace Hardware Painting Services Chicagoland

Kyle Sheahen is the 5th generation owner of Mutual Ace Hardware, started in 1917. Kyle worked in the hardware store alongside his father as a young child and became full-time in 2010. Kyle’s primary focus when he began full-time was building the rental division of Mutual Ace Hardware, and he continued to run the rental equipment operations until 2016. Known as Mutual Rentals it has become one of the largest equipment rental locations within Ace Hardware. In 2016, Kyle became owner of Mutual Ace Hardware after the passing of his father. Once Kyle became owner his goal was to continue to grow the company, which he accomplished in 2017 when he added a two acre garden center. Kyle continued to expand the Mutual brand when he purchased the Ace Hardware in Palatine, IL in 2019 and the Ace Hardware in Buffalo Grove, IL in 2020. In 2022 Kyle addeAce Handyman Services to the Mutual Ace Hardware family. And now, Mutual Ace Hardware brings the next addition, Ace Hardware Painting Services, Chicagoland. 

Chris oversees our day-to-day operations to ensure that all of our Ace Hardware Painting Services customers receive the best possible experience that they can. Chris has 27 years' experience in the construction field. His career includes his early working days as an apprentice for a deck builder, union carpentry school, framing production homes, project management for custom home builders, operations manager, to owning his own handyman and remodeling business for 11 years. Chris is recently married, has 3 adult children, and is passionate about traveling, history, and of course, anything to do with construction!
